Wow, I would have never saw this coming.

Kate Winslet, 34, and her husband of  almost seven-years director Sam Mendes, 44, have separated.

In a statement their lawyers said:

“Kate and Sam are saddened to announce that they separated earlier this year.  The split is entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement. Both parties are fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children.”

Winslet and Mendes have one son together, Joe, 6. Winslet also has a daughter, Mia, 9, from her first marriage to Jim Threapleton.

Just because Kate Winslet broke up with her husband doesn’t mean she’s going to dive to the bottom of the ocean to grab Leonardo DiCaprio’s hand and bring him back to shore with her so they can live happily ever after. That shit was jut a movie! Yes, Kate and Leo are always dry humping on each other at awards shows, but that doesn’t mean anything. They are just best girlfriends. Besides, Leonardo DiCatchaho only dates women he can order through the Sports Illustrated catalog.

This past weekend, Corey’s mother Judy told Access Hollywood that Toronto is going to take care of the bill for her son’s funeral. Toronto’s communications director tells People that this isn’t so, “The City of Toronto confirms no involvement in funeral costs for Mr. Haim. The City of Toronto has never received an application for assistance with the funeral costs for Mr. Haim.“

A private memorial fund has been to set up to help Judy cover the funeral costs. The Steeles Memorial Chapel, where Corey’s funeral is taking place, has also agreed to help with some of the costs.

Country music legend Dolly Parton was on hand Friday to celebrate the opening of her first Nashville store. The official ribbon cutting was held at Noon Friday outside Trinkets & Treasures, located on Second Avenue. The store sells all things Dolly, from magnets, mugs and t-shirts to jewelry, musical instruments and novelty items. “We have some fun junk and really nice wonderful pieces,” Parton explained. “I approved most of the stuff that comes through here and I’m going to get a discount on it too.” After the official business, Dolly took time to meet some of the hundreds of fans who attended the grand opening celebration. The store, located on 126 Second Avenue North, is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Sunday through Friday and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

OMG … LOVE the shirt and I LOVE Dolly Parton!! I can only imagine what wonderfully tacky items are available for sale at this new shop! I’m a huge fan of “fun junk” (much to David’s chagrin, believe me) and this new store sounds really cool! It’s a shame I don’t have any trips to Nashville in my foreseeable future but I hope to get there someday … what I wouldn’t give for a Dolly Parton-approved trinket to treasure

Aww … so cute! GRRRR … I hate that I’m now FORCED to pay attention to this DWTS nonsense but since I’m pulling for Shannen to win the whole enchilada, well, I guess my fate is sealed. I sincerely hope that Mr. Ballas here isn’t spending all of this time playing with Shannen’s dog … he had to ensure that Shannen WINS! It’s a cute pic tho … am I right?

You will note that she is carrying a bag of take-out from Koo Koo Roo so mebbe that’s why she looks so sunny and happy. Nothing equals happiness like a bag of fried chicken but still … you’d think she might be a bit bummed that her relationship with Jamie is dunzo. Ah well … life goes on, I suppose. I can’t wait to see who J. Love hooks up with next … any guesses?

Five thousand dollars is not a lot of money to a wallet fucker. Jude Law could’ve shook out his checking account a little more and added a zero to that amount. I mean, it’s not like he’s spending any money on haircare products or condoms.
