Justin Biebers Manager Arrested Over Not Tweeting ?

Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber’s manager, Scott ‘Scooter’ Braun, has been arrested was arrested on Long Island today for not cooperating with attempts to break up the crowd.  Braun was charged with a series of misdemeanors, including endangering the welfare of children and obstructing governmental administration.

In November, Braun, 28, took Bieber to a mall appearance in Garden City, N.Y. and Bieber’s Twitter account stated:

“On my way to Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island, NY to sign and meet fans! I’m pumped. See u there.”

The crowd of teenage girls became extremely rowdy, and police told Braun to announce on Twitter that the event was canceled. Prosecutors say Braun waited 1 1/2 hours before Tweeting and the crowd continued to get worse.

Braun’s lawyers claim he Tweeted just seven minutes after the cops request.

A release said police asked James Roppo, a senior vice president of Island Def Jam Records, to send out a tweet telling fans that the event was canceled. Island Def Jam employees also contacted Braun to send out the tweet. An hour later, no tweet was sent and the crowd remained.

Justin is showing his support for his manager by tweeting earlier today:

You’ve got my total support @scooterbraun Wish you were here in Chicago with us #FreeScooter
