Head’s up Nine Inch Nails/Trent Reznor fans … NIN.com, the official Nine Inch Nails website, has been updated with a curious new photo published on the main homepage which appears to be a close-up image of a soundboard in a recording studio. Might TR be hinting at the imminent release of new music with this teaser photo?
Reznor is infamous for posting cryptic images like this on NIN.com to inspire discussion from his legions of fans. It seems very telling that the first updated photo of 2010 appears to be from a recording studio. In December, Trent Reznor updated NIN.com with a message that promised that 2010 would bring “a number of things … including new material from nine inch nails and something else that isn’t nine inch nails”. Could this new image be a hint that one of those releases may be upon us soon? Speculate away … I, for one, am very excited at the prospect of new material from TR in any form. In all honesty, I have no idea what this image could be hinting at … I’m just as curious and in the dark as everyone else … which makes this new update all the more fun! Any guesses as to what Reznor’s got planned for us?
