First Lady Michelle Obama is helping the Food Network series Iron Chef America kick off their new season tonight, January 3, 2010.
White House executive chef Christeta Comerford and celebrity chef Bobby Flay joins forces to compete against Mario Batali and Emeril Lagasse in tonight’s season opener.
The First Lady will Obama will be revealing the secret ingredient that the chefs must use in their televised cook-off. She will also take the opportunity to discuss her Healthy Kids Initiative, where her goals are to help kids get and stay healthy by eating better through better school lunches, community gardens, and exercise.
