The Kansas City Chiefs have officially kicked Larry Johnson off the NFL team after lots of controversy following some anti gay slurs he made recently. Fans came up with a petition to have Johnson fired from the team and apparently it worked.
Johnson was just 75 yards away from becoming the team’s all-time leading rusher when he was suspended last month.
Johnson’s agent, Peter Schaffer, told The Associated Press.
“A part of him is excited and a part of him is very regretful. There’s a lot of feelings going on right now. It’s analogous to breaking up with a girlfriend. Maybe you saw it coming, but it still hurts when it happens.”
