My Killer Hallowe’en

So … for Hallowe’en this year I decided I wanted to go all out and really put together a costume that I would really love so I decided to go with my fave serial killer EVER — Dexter Morgan from the Jeff Lindsay book series and the Showtime TV series Dexter. As I mentioned before, David had planned on being Dr. Horrible but since his costume got pilfered, he decided to go as his fave music artist of all time — The King of Pop, Michael Jackson:

We spent a fun, long day running ALL OVER TOWN to hit up our various parties … starting the day with our friends Alyson and Alexis, then making our way out to see our friends Gillian and Tim and then ending the night at Tam and Rob’s. After the jump, check out some fun Polaroid photos of our Hallowe’en day/night …

Here are pics of our gracious party hosts:

Each party was so much fun … at Aly and Alexis’s party, David got to tell Felicia Day (who was dressed as a zombie cowboy) all about his Dr. Horrible costume that never was and we both got to play with the cutest little kangaroo ever ;) Gillian and Tim annually throw amazing Hallowe’en parties and last night was no exception … the food was delish and the wine was FREE FLOWIN’! OY! I’m paying for it today but it was so much fun. We ended the night at Tam and Rob’s (which has become a sort of home away from home for David and me lately) and partied with some amazing friends … here are some Polaroids from Tam and Rob’s party:

I LOVED the Coralines … both Emily and Eileen did amazing jobs with their costumes … but, I have to say, I think my fave costume of the night was the Aretha Franklin Hat. It’s awesome, right?? David and I are blessed to know so many great people … we had the best Hallowe’en ever because we have dear friends to spend it with. I hope all y’all’s Hallowe’ens were just as fun.

As I alluded to above, I am a bit hungover today … I had to go back to sleep after waking up this morning to keep from puking my guts out. I’m feeling better now but I’m still not at 100%. I was hoping to make it out to the The Olvera Street Merchant’s Dia de los MuertosFestival today but I’m not sure if that’s gonna happen. The pain today is SO worth all the fun we had last night. I’m so bummed that Hallowe’en is over already … but I’m already planning for next year ;)
